And another thing

Why do people say things that would hurt others? The older I’m getting the more I have noticed people are careless about what they say. People don’t understand how their words affect others. It can be some of the closest people to you that know exactly how to cut you to your core. After they say something hurtful, they look at you like you did something wrong. I am sorry but did I miss something? When did people stop caring?

You can get your point across without making someone feel like they are worthless. If you have an issue, talk about it how you would want to be talked to. If you have an ulterior motive while talking to someone, don’t talk to them. If you are petty just to get a reaction, go talk to someone else. I think people need to learn respect and understand that we are all human and need to be treated how they would like to be treated. If your intentions aren’t pure, work on yourself before putting someone else down.

I’m not saying I am perfect, but I am learning the art of thinking before I speak. If I wasn’t rooted in my faith and have a good support system, I would’ve believed a lot of things people have said about me. I can’t imagine how some people do it without a good group of people around them. It makes me sad how some people use their words so carelessly.

Long story short, people want genuine connections (friendships and relationships) and if you don’t have the right intentions work on yourself.

Okay my tangent is over!

Me trying to mind my own business and keep my peace btw
