I am going to start making good decisions.

Every. Single. Sunday.

I’m going to be active all week, meal prep, put all of my laundry away, not lose my temper, etc. Once Thursday comes around, I completely lose my train of thought. My laundry gets piled up, I go out to eat, watch trash tv and get irritated by my own FBI skills. Once the weekend comes around, I don’t think I use my brain once. I want to be better, but I constantly fight myself between I need to lock tf in and YOLO. I told myself at the beginning of 2026 it was going to be my yes year, but I fear I take it too far every time. Gosh lock me in my house.

Don’t get me wrong I have had a lot of fun but sometimes I wish I could just be wholesome. I constantly need plans to look forward to, but I also love my alone time. Coming home to an empty house can be lonely but also freeing all at the same time. Sometimes I clean at 4am because I can’t sleep and other times, I fall asleep at 9:30pm because I upset myself with my own Instagram stalking. Why do they have what people have liked on Instagram reels as an option? Sometimes I get home from work and think about a comment a patient made that could be slightly offensive FOR HOURS. I always put my towels in the dryer last, so I don’t have to put them up on time. I set myself up for failure all the time.

August was filled with chaotic weekends, fun work events and a LOT of fun nights out. I went to Houston with Lanie (barely remember how we got home), Astros game with coworkers, 6th St in Austin, lots of Lankford’s with Janae and Lanie, constantly shopping and a few family dinners. Reconnected with people but also blocked like 50 people. Some bad decisions I can laugh at but others I thought wouldn’t leave my mind. It’s all overwhelming, so much I started taking ashwagandha. Like what. I stopped taking it because it was making me feel super weird and have crazy dreams.

Any who, new month new me. Wholesome September!

Okay but I’m still a rangers fan
